Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Airport pickup, transfer straight to Kandy (3h). Check in to a romantic boutique hotel above the lake. Optional evening cultural dance show.
Day 2 — Temple of the Tooth + Royal Botanical Gardens. Afternoon transfer to a tea-country villa above Nuwara Eliya. Welcome champagne on the verandah at sunset.
Day 3 — Tea plantation walk with a private guide, lunch at a colonial tea bungalow, free afternoon at the villa spa.
Day 4 — The famous Nanu Oya → Ella train (we book first-class observation seats). Check in to a glass-fronted cliffside hotel in Ella with Nine Arch Bridge views.
Day 5 — Sunrise Little Adam's Peak (easy 40-min hike, the photo). Afternoon transfer to the south coast (3.5h).
Day 6 — Full day at a 5-star south-coast resort. We arrange a private candlelit dinner on the beach.
Day 7 — Slow morning, transfer to airport (2h on the expressway).

December to mid-April is ideal for this exact itinerary (south + west coast + hill country dry season). For July–September honeymoons, flip the beach finale to the east coast (Pasikuda) — same idea, opposite monsoon.
