Questions Travellers Ask
Is this tour private or shared with other travellers?+
Every tour we run is private. You travel only with your own party, in your own air-conditioned vehicle, with your own English-speaking chauffeur-guide. There are no shared coaches and no fixed departure dates.
Can the itinerary be changed?+
Yes. The day-by-day plan is a starting point. Nights can be added or removed, hotels changed to a different category, and sights swapped for others nearby. Tell us what you would like and we will send a revised plan before you confirm.
How do I get a price?+
Prices depend on your travel dates, group size, vehicle and hotel category, so we quote each trip individually rather than publishing a fixed figure. Send us your dates on WhatsApp or through the quote form — we usually respond quickly on WhatsApp and aim to reply to all enquiries within 24 hours.
Do you handle airport pickup?+
Yes. Airport pickup and drop-off at Bandaranaike International Airport are included, including late-night and early-morning arrivals. Your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board.
How demanding is the Sigiriya climb?+
It is roughly 1,200 steps with exposed metal staircases near the top. Most reasonably fit visitors manage it in under an hour going early. Pidurangala is a rockier but shorter alternative with a view of Sigiriya itself.
Is there a dress code at the temples?+
Yes — shoulders and knees covered, shoes and hats removed inside temple areas. Carry socks; stone floors get very hot by midday.
